They love to work on anything mechanical. Get your vintage typewriter oiled and tuned up -- and it will be worth 3 times the value in the vintage market -- plus you can use it and it looks really cool!"

"The rare art of customer service cohabitates with the rare art of typewriter repair in this shop. The service here was fast, effective, and informative. I brought in a 1937 Underwood portable with a few issues that I could not figure out. The fellas at Berkeley Typewriter took the machine in and had it working perfectly in only two days. Also, they showed me all sorts of other typewriters and parts in the shop, helping me learn more about these beautiful devices. They also have ribbon for sale that far surpasses the quality of the cheap stuff you can get online - plus they'll make sure it actually fits your machine so you don't get jammed up when you try to write. I will 100% be back with any future typewriter needs! Thank you!"
